Five drawn cards in a cross

Tarot Card Positions and Reading Order

Card one at the left describes your approach or supporting position. Card two at the right describes the challenge. Card three above offers guidance, card four below a possible outcome, and card five in the center returns to the core question as a synthesis.

Connecting the Tarot Positions to Your Question

Some French methods draw four cards and calculate a fifth from their numbers. TarotArt draws all five cards; it does not perform that numerical calculation. Keep this distinction in mind when comparing instructions from another reader.

Read the tension before the synthesis

For a decision about a course, The Magician on the left and Two of Pentacles on the right could contrast available skills with limited time. Temperance above invites a sustainable pace; Eight of Pentacles below suggests practice. A central Justice asks whether the commitment fits the actual requirements and your priorities. This is an illustrative reading, not a guarantee of results.

A useful follow-up question

After reading the cross, ask “What information would help me test this interpretation?” Write down one action, such as checking the course schedule. Use the synthesis to connect the cards instead of asking it to override a difficult answer.

The cards offer a perspective. The choice remains yours.
