Two columns and one shared direction

Tarot Card Positions and Reading Order

Read your column from top to bottom: your thoughts, your feelings and your desires. Read the other column as your perception of the other person’s thoughts, feelings and desires. The seventh card below the columns reflects the relationship’s possible direction.

Connecting the Tarot Positions to Your Question

The layout cannot establish what another person privately thinks or wants. Treat their column as a way to expose your assumptions, then compare it with what they have actually communicated. Consent and boundaries remain more informative than any symbol.

An example of separating hopes from behavior

Imagine your column contains Two of Cups, The Moon and Four of Wands, while the other column contains The Hermit, Page of Cups and Two of Pentacles. The pattern may invite you to notice a wish for closeness alongside uncertainty and differing rhythms. A seventh Temperance suggests a measured conversation. None of these cards confirms attraction, exclusivity or a future commitment.

What to do after a relationship reading

Write two short lists: what I know from behavior, and what I am assuming. Choose a respectful question you can ask directly. Save the reading if you want to revisit your own perspective later; repeated draws are not a substitute for an answer someone has already given.

The cards offer a perspective. The choice remains yours.
