Synastry Chart Calculator: Relationship Astrology
About the calculation and reflection
Astronomy Engine supplies apparent geocentric tropical longitudes. Major aspects: 0, 60, 90, 120 and 180°. Details stay in this page’s memory. Prompts are contemporary symbolic reflections; they do not predict events or infer another person’s feelings.
What a Synastry Chart Shows
Synastry here compares the zodiac longitudes of ten bodies at two recorded birth moments. Enter each local date, time and timezone separately. The comparison lists cross-chart aspects rather than reducing a relationship to a compatibility percentage.
This tool compares planets without houses, so birthplace coordinates are not required. A birth-chart wheel and a two-sky comparison answer different questions; use the birth-chart tool if you want an ascendant and whole-sign houses.
How to Read Synastry Aspects
The comparison checks conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines and oppositions using a 4° window. Results are ordered by how close they are to an exact angle. A smaller difference means a closer geometric match, not proof of a stronger or better relationship.
Synastry Example: Conjunction and Opposition
A body at 12° and another at 14° form a conjunction with a 2° difference. Positions of 12° and 190° are 178° apart, within 2° of an opposition. These are arithmetic examples, not claims about two particular people.
Using Relationship Astrology for Reflection
Use an aspect as a question about a dynamic you can observe: how do we handle different preferences, make plans or repair misunderstandings? Compare the question with both people’s stated experience. An aspect cannot reveal a private intention or decide whether a relationship should continue.
The entered birth details stay in page memory for this experience. Copy anything you want to keep before leaving; this tool does not create a saved relationship profile.
