Choose 1, 3 or 5 cards, decide whether to include reversed cards, then select Draw cards. Your cards appear immediately on this page. Select any card to read its name, orientation and short interpretation; the card guide opens its full upright and reversed meanings. No account, payment or question is required for this tool.
The generator uses the full 78-card tarot deck: 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards. Each draw contains unique cards. Draw again starts a fresh selection, so a card from an earlier draw can appear again.
One-card tarot: a focus for today
A single card works well when you want one clear theme. Before drawing, think of a question such as “What deserves my attention today?” Read the card’s meaning alongside what you already know about your situation. A one-card pull is a prompt for reflection, not a prediction that an event must happen.
Three or five cards: explore several perspectives
For three cards, you can assign present, guidance and next step before drawing. Five cards leave room for more perspectives, but this generator does not assign fixed positions. Decide what each position represents first, or use a guided spread when you want a predefined structure.
Random tarot cards with upright and reversed meanings
With Include reversed cards switched on, each selected card also receives a randomly chosen orientation. An upside-down image is marked Reversed and shows that interpretation. Switch the option off before drawing to use upright cards only. Changing a setting clears the previous draw so the displayed cards always match your choices.
A reversal is not automatically a bad outcome. It can suggest a blocked quality, an inward focus or a need to reconsider the upright theme. Compare both meanings in the card guide rather than treating a reversal as a fixed yes or no.
How random tarot card draws work
The selection takes place in your browser using its random-number generator. Cards are sampled without replacement within each draw, and orientation is selected separately. The tool does not choose a card based on an account, a personal story or a desired answer.
These short meanings come from the card library, not a personalized AI response. For a question-based conversation, use Start a guided reading. That starts a separate reading; it does not carry this quick draw into a chat.
Random tarot card generator questions
Can I draw tarot cards for free without signing in?
Yes. The random draw and the displayed card meanings are free and do not require an account. Any account or plan requirements for a separate guided AI conversation are explained in that flow.
Why can the same tarot card appear in another draw?
Every new draw starts with the full deck again. Cards cannot repeat within one selection, but the same card may appear in a later selection. Repeatedly drawing is not a way to verify a prediction.
Do I need to enter a question before I draw?
No. You can keep a question in mind or draw without one. The tool does not collect a personal question. If you want to reflect on a decision, use the result to identify something you can observe, discuss or try.
