Astrocartography Map: Planetary Lines by Birth Location

At your birth moment, where were the planets rising, setting or crossing a meridian? Unfold the map and explore.

Your birth moment
What this atlas measures

Uses geocentric right ascension, declination and Greenwich sidereal time at birth. MC / IC are meridians; ASC / DSC use the geometric horizon, without refraction, terrain or lunar parallax. Circumpolar regions may have no rising or setting line. The map is equirectangular. Symbolic associations are reflection prompts, not predictions about moving or travelling.

What an Astrocartography Map Shows

Enter a birth moment and explore where each of ten bodies lies on a geometric rising, setting or meridian line. Select a body and inspect a location on the map. The atlas is a symbolic exploration of sky geometry, not a ranking of places where you should live.

The map uses a fixed world outline. It does not look up addresses or request a geocoding service, and a selected point is not an assessment of that place’s practical conditions.

Astrocartography Lines: MC, IC, Rising and Setting

MC and IC mark opposite meridians associated with the upper and lower crossings. Rising and setting curves vary with latitude. At some latitudes a body does not cross the geometric horizon, so a curve need not extend across the whole map.

Astrocartography Location Example

If an inspected point is 5° of longitude from a selected meridian, read that as angular separation on the map. It is not five degrees of travel distance, a promise of influence or a reliable conversion into kilometers. Latitude matters when interpreting map geometry.

Astrocartography Calculation Limits

The atlas uses geocentric geometric lines. Atmospheric refraction, terrain and lunar parallax are excluded. Those limits matter if you compare the display with apparent rising times or another mapping system.

Use any symbolic association as a journal question. A choice about visiting or moving still depends on the actual place, relationships and practical constraints. Birth inputs remain in page memory in this experience.
